Hey friends,
Happy 4th of July! Two hundred fifty years on the books today, and this country still throws one heck of a party for it. Grills already going, sparklers lit before the show even starts.
Picture that same energy inside Third Chapter someday. String lights over the patio, the smell of coffee mixing with someone's barbecue smoke drifting over from across the street. Kids picking out books while the adults catch up like they've got nowhere else to be. That's not a stretch. That's just a normal Tuesday, if we build the room right.
This whole holiday runs on one idea: showing up for each other, in person. Third Chapter runs on that same idea, just without the fireworks budget.
Wherever you end up tonight, watching the show or just sitting on a curb somewhere, tell the person next to you you're glad they're there. Costs nothing, lands big.
Happy 4th, friends. Proud of this country, proud to be building something in it with you.
Thank you,
Jonathan
